Meeting people off the internet.
So, a follow up to a recent blog entry. Last week I got around to meeting the guy who didn’t show up. We went out for breakfast/lunch, which breaks my no meals on a first date rule. The date was..eh. Presumably he thought so too since I haven’t heard from him. I discovered that I can’t handle people having gray/black teeth. Ok it was just one but still…you have a health plan…that’s not good, get it checked out. I also discovered the danger of going on random dates in a small town. About 1/2 way through one of the faculty and two other people from work showed up. Luckily they were seated far enough away to not be able to hear the typical painful first meeting conversation.
