Hi! I’m your Secret Stalker!
Ash and I went to dinner and a concert this weekend. It was a pretty good show. Naturally Ash knew everyone at the show. So he mentioned that some of his friends were over at a table right near the stage. As he was talking he realized I probably had no idea who they were. And he was most right; I didn’t really know them. But Ash used to have a blog and when I’d check his blog I’d go around and look at some of the blogs linked from his page. One of the pages I would regularly check belonged to a woman who started sewing bags (ie purses etc) about the same time I did. However, since she had a real job and didn’t have all that pesky nasty grad school stuff taking up her time she was much more vigilant than I was and quickly became really good at making them. I admit it, I had craft envy. So I also happened to like her blog and was reading it. So when Ash mentioned her name I happily announced, “Oh no I know who she is. I read her blog.” And then promplty suggested that he introduce us so I could say, “Hi, I’m your secret stalker!” Because that wouldn’t be creepy at all.
So I also realized I could totally link to her blog and then it wouldn’t be a secret anymore, since her blog would probably tell her. *gasp* Oh no..what to do!
